Nathan.. thanks for the explainatin.. but still having the same deal.. I got
the following two ACKs from my post to the LSTOWN-L list.. both showing
clearly that I seem to be subscribed to both under the same email address?

YET.. when I tried to unsub from the Searn list.. I got the You are not
subscribed to the LSTOWN-L  .. does this mean that even if I'm not subscribed
to the ACK Searn list.. I'd get the ACK because list is send=public????  in which
case I'd need to join the list to get that SET NOACK????
