Also, if your list has a CHANGELOG enabled, you could GET the
listname.changelog file and search there.  However, unless you have been
running the CHANGELOG since the beginning of your list, it will only show
information from when it was started.

I know Doug doesn't like/use it but there are also features in the 1.8e
List Management web interface that allow you to query the CHANGELOG for a
date range, or a particular email address pattern, etc.
