This is very probably covered in the archives, but darned if I can find it
(and it's probably covered somewhere in LISTSERV documentation, but again,
darned if I can find it). Is there any way to find the Internet domain
name for a former BITNET site? I have no specific idea when it left --
best guess is sometime after 4 July 1992 since the individual was still
reporting a BITNET address at that time. Specifically, I am looking for
Alain Fauconnet, the author of VMSTAR, who reported a BITNET address of
<FAUCONNE@FRSIM51> at that time (and, of course, I'm assuming that this
node is still in existence and reachable, but...).

Regards and thanks in advance, George
