Pre-approval from whom?  Did they know the message was 184K?  There's no
conceivable way that a message that long makes any sense.  What fraction of
recipients do you suppose have any idea what most of it was (uuencoded jpeg
is not what you usually expect to find on a list)?  Do you plan to
reimburse all those who have to pay for their mail by the kbyte?
 
Why on earth didn't you simply provide an ftp address for the graphic and
let people who might be interested retrieve it?  Further, even if I did not
the perp from email how could his picture help (I rarely know what people I
routinely email with look like)?
 
I think I stick by my original Keystone Kops assessment and will see what
can be done about filtering your address to keep it off lists and
newsgroups.
