While not answering the original question, I'd just point out that
earthlink users, even if they are using the whitelist process, can add
domains to their whitelist, and get listserv stuff even if it appears
to come from a member of the list. At least, I'm pretty sure that's
how it worked the last time I had my earthlink spam blocker turned up
to the max.
