Okay I apologize to you if you were using Webster's definition. The
people that compiled that definition are either wrong or have a misconception
of jihad. The news media is partially at fault here for helping spread that
misconception. People in the Middle East even use it loosely. Jihad has
absolutely nothing to do with crusades, physical wars, hostage holding,
suicide missions or violence. It is a spiritual concept of fighting
weakness and retardation to developement within one's own self. Jihad has
nothing to forcing others to accept another's beliefs. That a total
misconception.
