Doesn't even have to open up a second account, really.  AOL allows more
than one username per account, so one person could join a list under two
id's from the same account and hold nifty little dialogues with himself --
as long as he (or she, depending on whether the Greeks built a stallion or
a mare) doesn't use the same personal name for both, it would be hard to
spot.  You'd need an informant with an aol account to figure it out.
 
We just had someone apply to our list under two user id's from what I
suspect is the same aol account -- the same personal name on both requests.
Hasn't sent in the obligatory application form, though.  We'll see.
