Just as a point of reference, I use a current PC version of Eudora and have subscribed to several lists in MIME DIGEST mode. I have seen no change of operation (other than the FROM: field) when we upgraded from 1.8e to 14.3
I just did a MIME DIGEST from PEACH and it seems ok to me (Eudora) (though NOT a relay AFAICT) ...
