Hi -
Just thouhgt I'd post this to see if any one might have some ideas.
We use Windows listserv and MS SQL server 2000 to store the data tables.
We have a weird isues when we create a list and add the first user only.
The list gets created no prob, and in our config file we have a table name
specified for the emails.
When we go to add a first user we get this error:
Cal Anderson has been added to the ALLFTFACULTY-L list. No
notification has been sent. Serious error occurred - traceback
follows
------------------------------------------ >>> Error X'00D00103'
opening file C:\LISTSERV\MAIN\ALLFTFACULTY-L.LIST <<< -> Severity:
Error -> Facility: Win32 error codes -> Abstract: Unspecified error
(32) - Refer to the Win32 online help -> W32 info: The process
cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
-> I/O mode: Record read
But the strange thing is that the table gets built and user gets added
regardless of this error.
Plus any additional users get entered with errors.
Log files show this.
-> Creating table...
-> Table created successfully.
### File C:\LISTSERV\MAIN\ALLFTFACULTY-L.LIST is in use by another
process - will retry.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causeing this error? Something is
getting hung up but how to fix?
