lsoft has never asked me who I am when I go to check the online version.  I
have only seen 'not authorized' messages under a few circumstances which
might be happening here.  Someone from L-Soft will have to express an
opinion on whether any of these have merit here:

1) When going to some sites which have software which can not be exported
due to ITAR, I've been locked out when using a machine behind a firewall at
work that prevents reverse DNS lookup because the vendor is unable to
confirm that I'm not Mohammar Khaddafi.

2) One of the machines is in an RBL'ed net block.  I doubt that L-Soft is.
The folks on SPAM-L might know if the other one is.  Does L-Soft even
subscribe to Vixie's RBL, or some equivalent?  Of course, if that were the
explanation, I imagine that we wouldnt be seeing this thread anyway.
