Of course, this is highly dependant on the editor in question.  For
you vi-lovers, this is true (provided that the mailers between you and
your LISTSERV don't wrap the lines for you), but for quite a few other
editors, this is not enough to guarantee that the address won't be
wrapped.
 
That issue aside, however, it is still not quite the whole story.
Even if you can get an un-wrapped address to LISTSERV, the LIST file
only reserves 80 characters for the subscriber's name and address.
Column 81 contains flags that control the subscription.  That implies
that a subscription address can never contain more than 80 characters.
This is for Revised LISTSERV up through 1.7f.  Has anyone heard
whether this constraint is relieved in 1.8a?
