presentation at HillGang, DC-regional VM user group, titled "Using,
Managing, and Operating Internet Email Subscription Lists", described as:
 
             Internet electronic mailing lists can be a valuable vehicle
             for sharing and archiving information online, coordinating
             and streamlining administrative tasks, making event/product
             announcements and delivering email newsletters. This
             presentation will tour list architectures and facilities,
             suggest techniques for using (subscribing/reading) lists
             most effectively, and describe activities involved in
             operating and administering lists of varying sizes and
             purposes.

             Elena Hammond works for L-Soft International, vendor of
             LISTSERV(TM) software under exclusive license from author
             Eric Thomas. LISTSERV is the premier Internet MLM (mailing
             list management) software and celebrated its 10th birthday
             this year.
 
The meeting is at Fairview Park Marriott at Beltway and Route 50 in
Fairfax County. Admission is $15; the LISTSERV talk is scheduled for 3:15
