Not only do I object strongly to people using the term LISTSERV to describe a
list, I get even more upset when I find out that techies (who are supposed to
know better) are teaching it to newbies.
 
I have just discovered a a techie, newly hired by our instruction folks, is
busily feeding people all the wrong information. I plan to correct him ASAP.
