Other than deleting and recreating the list anew.  Is there a way to really
unlock a list when a message received from listserv says it has unlocked
the list but it really has not?  See below.

Sorry,  the   OMBUDS  list   has  been  locked   since  98/03/03   10:00  by
[log in to unmask]  You  can unlock  it,  if  needed and  after
checking with [log in to unmask], by means of an "UNLOCK OMBUDS"
command.
