Thanks very much! I should have thought of that! Being led astray by an
over-assessment of the functionality of the web interface (before I was
disabused of this notion in a previous thread "Flagging new mail"), I had
originally set the list to Send=Public in a misguided attempt to be friendly
to surfers-by.

In any case I've reset, and will see if that stops this particular
