The simplest thing for YOUR subscribers, is for you to create
and maintain a 'listname WELCOME' file on your listserv.  When
new subscribers join, it will be sent to them automatically.
 
If they did not know about netiquette before joining your list,
then then probably won't be able to deal with issuing listserv
GET (or other mail-enabled automation requests).  Thus you've
covered your bases.
 
There are plenty of WELCOME files out there.  Many have been
mentioned in this forum.
