step aside maureen. i'll handle this ... ;-)


i've changed over to the new newsguy.com gateway service, and
here's the reportage:

they handle the spam with their own "spam hippo" or something.
*excellent*. i haven't seen *any* spam come through.

there's virtually no time lag on the gateway -- all messages
cross - in both directions - as soon as they're posted.

the response when writing to [log in to unmask] with questions
or problems is practically instantaneous. (btw, so was the response
from ben parker of lsoft, who helped immensely.)

if you're gating bit.listserv.* to a list, you'll still have
the same usenet newsgroup name. those gating other newsgroups to
a list will have the same newsgroup name as well.

[log in to unmask] welcomes gateway questions from any listowners
interested in the new service.

i highly recommend the newsguy.com gateway service, for those
who've been using the american.edu gateway service.
