Some people will love a digest default, some will hate it.  You'll
probably hear only from the latter.  If you think it is the way to go
just be prepared to tell the gripers how to change their subs to mail
or index (if you expect many gripes about it fix up a boilerplate
item on it which you can fire off any time meeded).   Douglas
