Thank you very much, Liam, what you write is tremendously encouraging.

Change log is already enabled.
Is it possible to GET the change log for SELECTED ADDRESSES? for
SELECTED DATE periods" If I can't I am going to have a horribly
large file to go through. I have not tried to get the change-log yet
for that reason.
Also can you tell me how to interpret the examples you give?
Example 1)
> 20011128111933 SET [log in to unmask] NOREVIEW
I assume that on 11/28/2001, the mail options of [log in to unmask]
were set to NO REVIEW. But what do the other digits, 111833, mean?
Example 2)
>20011126135749 POST [log in to unmask] Emergency Virus Alert
I assume that on 11/26/01 BAR#EXAMPLE.ORG posted a virus alert. But
what do the digits 135749 mean?
You say, and the second example support this, that the changelog
records posting action. Curiously, the only reference I have yet
found in the 1.8d manual says: "Commands tracked in the Change-log
include SUBscribe/JOIN, SIGNOFF/UNSUBscribe, auto-deletions, and all
changes to users' personal options" - but it says nothing about
postings.
