Well, some would say the subscriber is entitled to know how his sub
options are set.  If the person can't get that info and wonders why
his stuff is not going through, and knows enough to do a query, and
asks about it he might become a bit belligerent to learn the listowner
has restricted him and deliberately kept it a secret.
