It's my impression that most people who send mail with attachments to
lists have no idea that's what they're doing.  Many mail programs
seem to do this automagically (for instance, attaching an HTML-coded
duplicate of the message).  But I'm not hopeful that a fix can be
found through LISTSERV, because there are also many instances where
the message appears _only_ in the attachment.

But if there _is_ a way to filter the garbag out, I'd sure be
interested in hearing about it.
