I would like to have the following capabilities in Auto-Delete:

(1) Forward the error messages for non-subscribers to the Errors-to
address.

(2) Forward the error message that causes a subscriber to be deleted
to the Errors-to address.

I like to save the error message that causes me to delete a subscriber,
in case that person receives the notice that they were deleted and writes
back asking why. It's much more effective to include a copy of an error
message than to just say that I was getting a lot of errors. However,
when Auto-Delete is processing the errors, all I have to send them is
the message from the Error Monitor report. That's not going to carry
as much weight with the postmaster of the other system as a copy of an
error message generated by his own system would.

Here's an example of the situation I am describing:

You were removed from the list because LISTSERV was receiving numerous
messages about mail not being delivered to your address. If the
problem with your mail system has been resolved, please feel free to
resubscribe. To resubscribe, send the command "SUB listname your name"
to [log in to unmask]

Here's a description:

The following 9 subscribers are currently being monitored:

Err First Last Address
--- ----- ----- -------
371 12/09 12/10 [log in to unmask]
Last error: Host unknown (Name server:
                            x1825.education.services.: host not found)

"371" is the number of error messages received by LISTSERV.

Note that the ".BITNET" was erroneously assumed by LISTSERV because
the hostname in the bounce messages was apparently truncated to just
X1825. I do see that name in the Received headers of the message you
sent to me. Unfortunately, I do not have the full text of an error
message as it was discarded by LISTSERV's automatic error message
processing.
