We have a student population of 35 to 40,000 and an LDAP query limit of 20,000. We got around the query limit by making smaller queries:



System Confiruation:

DYN_QUERY_STUDENT-BYSN: 

  TYPE=LDAP SERVER=... EMAIL=mail NAME=displayName BASE=... FILTER=(&(csulbAllStudentEmail=TRUE)(sn=%1*))



The list configuration (header) includes 26 query calls, one for each letter of the alphabet:

* Sub-Lists= QUERY(STUDENT-BYSN,'A'),QUERY(STUDENT-BYSN,'B')

* Sub-Lists= QUERY(STUDENT-BYSN,'C'),QUERY(STUDENT-BYSN,'D')

...

We also facing the same issue, where our listserv using Active Directory build the dynamic list.
