Are you saying that because you think it's true or because you've
confirmed it through trial and error?

No, someone set to EDITOR is also allowed to post regardless of the daily
per-subscriber posting limit.

Yes, but as noted, this would not alter the situation.

Seems to me like your suggestion, while appreciated and intuitively
not such a bad idea, wouldn't work after all.
