I didn't really appreciate downloading nearly the whole damn spam
yesterday. Why was it worth repeating today? I also got a copy from
MICRO-L (gateway'd from NETNEWS). Thankfully it was blocked from other
LISTSERV lists I read.

It strikes me as all kinds of ironic that list owners don't have enough
sense to simply quote a handful of lines so that it's clear what's being
talked about.

I'd just as soon the gullible rely on this particular "manual for spamming"
because it is 1) unnecessarily clumsy to begin with--hard to implement and
will discourage some spammers, 2) it's a method easily delfected by spam
detectors, 3) it transmits so much junk from the source account that only
providers charging by the byte are likely to sit still for users adopting
this approach.

Let's adopt a policy of not posting whole spams to ANY list. If you REALLY
think people haven't seen it and ought to, put it on an ftp site somewhere
or indicate a list archive (probably MICRO-L :) that's likely to have it.

Boy am I glad my V.34 modem just got delivered!
