This is the second time this has happened in two days: everyone
subscribed to one of my mailing lists (luckily one with few subscribers)
lost their settings and ended up in MAIL (rather than the default
DIGEST) and NOREPRO. It happened to me, too, and it didn't act
as if someone had sent in the command

QUI SET <list> MAIL NOREPRO for *@*

In particular, I wasn't sent a partial digest, which is what I get
when I go from DIGEST to MAIL deliberately. What causes this?
More importantly, how can I make it stop before I add 4000+ potentially
cranky subscribers to this list in the next few weeks?
