Listserv relies on the existence of "Resent-" headers, which are
placed in the forwarded message by the mail client which is doing the
forwarding, in order for the "From:" address in the message as
distributed to the list to be that of the original sender instead of
the moderator.

This has been discussed exhaustively here more than once, and as Pete
says, a full discussion of it can be found in the archives. A search
on "Resent-" would probably bring up some of the messages, and there
are at least two full threads associated with some of those messages.

Unless you are editing the messages sent to the list, "Send=Edit,Hold"
combined with the "OK" mechanism is the best and most painless way to
go. It does make editing any of the messages more of a pain, with
sort of a hacker's mentality required to do it.
