To the best of my knowledge, in every case of this nature that I have
encountered, the line wrap was inserted by the sender's email client when
the message was sent, not when it was composed. Consequently, it looked fine
before it was sent. Check the sender's email client configuration. Odds are,
it is configured to wrap lines which exceed a specific length, usually 72 or
80 characters. This is an artifact of ancient times, when few email clients
were capable of formatting text on the fly and most of us read email on dumb
terminals with a fixed line length of 80 characters.
