(1) create a file on your filelist called 'listname FAREWELL'
    It has the same characteristics as the 'listname WELCOME'
    e.g., the first line of text should be a SUBJECT: line
    which becomes the RFC822 subject:.  Follow that by a
    blank line; then the body-of-text.  For an example
