A question to American Seniors:

(1) It is complicated to reach subscribers to SCIENCEnet/OMNET;

(2) It is difficult to get information on SCIENCEnet
    (it has taken over 2 weeks to get the message: -"Next week
    we will mail to you the requested package").

SCIENCEnet/OMNET is said to be _faster and better_ in a hidden-PR
announcement i retrieved from a VERONICA search.

- Why does such a private network have that kind of policy

      (a) Enclosing subscribers, kind of closing-down access;

      (b) Making it difficult to reach people through delayed
          mail-boxes and that kind of unpolite secrecy.

Any comments ?

Aldo-Pier.
