Fwd: AZRKBA: error report from
A-BSUPPLY.COM
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed
Gi'day all,
I'm one of the new guys.
We (MyListOwners) received an error
report via <[log in to unmask]>
from:
"From: NTMail <[log in to unmask]>"
which states that a certain message
to our List was a:
"Subject: Failed mail: non-delivery "
message due to:
"The SMTP protocol error was:
550 W32.Sircam.Worm found in message".
"The requested destination was:
[log in to unmask]"
This may not seem interesting except
for the fact that my machine received the
same message just fine, and I had just loaded
the most recent McAfee VirusScan dot DATs
yesterday. How did one of our ListMembers
receive a virus attached to this note, which
I (as a ListMember) did not ?
This was the only "error report" we ListOwners
received about this particular message bearing
a virus.
