Yes, e-mail addresses are case sensitive, usually.  Particularly on a Unix
server of whatever brand, as Unix is a case sensitive operating system.  I
do not know what an NT box would do, but a VMS machine could care less
about case as it all gets capitalized by default, and I do not know what a
VM server thinks about case.
