You can modify the template for the listname web page to include almost
anything, including text, javascript code, images stored on external web
sites, and links to external URL's. I know several list owners who have
done this. The most striking change I have seen was achieved by adding
about two dozen lines of HTML code, including links to an external style
sheet and two external scripts. As a result, the entire look and feel of
the listname web page now matches that of the related departmental web
site.

You could modify the template to include the list of files on the
filelist, but you will have to maintain it manually. LISTSERV will not
automatically update that portion of the web page to reflect changes in
the filelist. And, you cannot use the web interface to directly access
the files. You could add a "mailto" link to each item, so that clicking
the link would open an instance of the user's email client with the
appropriate GET command in the body of the message. It's a kludge,
but the only other way to make the files accessible via the web is
to maintain copies on an external web site that you control.
