Back in December '97 I switched from an edu to a com account.  While
getting everything set up so I could use the new account for list business
I posted items to my gatewayed list, about the pending change in my
address. Within a couple of days I was getting offensive spam sent
directly to my brand new private account.  My ISP does NOT sell its
subscription list.  Both my ISP adminsitrator and I have checked on this
(Altavista, etc.) and everything points back to the list with the usenet
gateway (REV of the list is restricted to the owners).
