LISTSERV 1.8d _does_ incorporate the GIVE command for all platforms, but not
AFD/FUI.  Permission for DISTRIBUTE jobs must be enabled by the Site
Maintainer for 1.8d sites.

You also forgot to mention FILE archives, which are files stored on the
server which the subscriber may request.  This has been largely supplanted
by webpages nowadays but is a regular LISTSERV capability.

Finally, why not start a second, companion list for the alternate kinds of
distributions.  thos that want that will know the subject matter is somewhat
different from your current list.
