Even better for someone new would be to go to   http://www.lsoft.com/ and
read one of the relevant manuals, either for subscribers, listowners, or
list maintainers, depending on need and interest.  They have good indexes
and of course can be searched in browser.  Also, there are many versions
that can be downloaded and read or printed locally.  I'll bet Nathan has
most any FAQ already answered in the manuals.
