LISTSERV does not appear to discontinue monitoring based upon
failure to renew.
 
Furthermore, there are certain pathological conditions where you
can unsub and resub a subscriber who is being monitored and then
end up having that subscriber auto-deleted by the monitor.
 
My advice: don't panic and tough it out.
