We already handle this sort of problem manually by adding the subscriber's
several mailboxes and setting all but one to nomail. The problem isn't
much of a headache for lists of fewer than 600 or so subscribers; perhaps
it is more of an issue for subscribers greater than a few thousand.

The feature would have value ONLY if it were automagic--darn clever if you
have a way to do that. I suspect that the number of instances where it
would open posting to DIFFERENT, unsubscribed people would be more trouble
than it's worth.

More and more procedures are available for domains such as universities to
provide everyone with a [log in to unmask] address that works
from whatever workstation, LAN or internal host one happens to log onto.
Only the shortage of person hours delays implementing it for the uconn.edu
domain. Hence, this looks to be a problem that might be better addressed
by users' hosts (thank goodness we don't have to worry about which of many
AOL computers happens to be sending any particular subscribers musings).
Eventually, we'll end up telling subscribers whose address seems to change
willy-nilly that it is problem to fix on their end if they want to keep
using the Internet list system.
