I've had a solicitation for funds incident also on Val-L a few months ago. I
got more flack from my list for being suppressive than I did from the offender,
whom I wrote privately and told that what they had done was out of bounds. They
agreed, and that was the end of it. I am on HISTORY, and would agree with
Thomas that the poster in question in being intransigent despite the objections,
   so I agree with Larry Jewell, if necessary, remove the person from the list.
   I
hate moves like that, but if a person refuses to be reasonable, is there any
other things that can be done? VMS
