Wow that is a huge amount of non-renewals.  I suppose you might want to
mention to your subscribers that almost a thousand people didn't renew
their subscriptions and that the list should be cleaner administratively.

I routinely lose a few subscribers who take longer than a week to respond
to the confirm request but they often come back when they realize they
have been deleted.

You may want to reset your list stats so you see more current posting
information.
