I have recently changed my list from public to moderated, and the editing
process works fine except for one detail: the original sender's e-mail
address is replaced by the editor's address in the message distributed by
the list (that is, all the items are from the editor).
The list is running on a CMS machine, but I am doing the editing from a POP
account on a UNIX machine using Eudora. If someone can tell me what the
headers on the approved message back to the list should be (in order to
retain the original "FROM:"), I will approach my local Eudora folks about
how to make that happen. (According to Marty Hoag, it involves "Resent-"
tags; anyone have more explicit info that I can transmit to system support
people?)
Thanks,
David Carlson
