What is the point  of a digest if it cannot exceed  1000 lines? The whole
concept of digest is that you get  all the traffic in a certain period of
time as a single  message which you can read when you  have time. Does it
really make  a difference  whether you  are sent one  message of  3000 or
three messages of 1000  (at the exact same time)? The  amount of data you
are getting is the same.
