Well, I did say that it may not be appropriate for every single list, but
for my list, given that is is very small by the nature of the beast, it
seems to work pretty well.  It seems to me that any list which regularly
has people subscribing and unsubscribing or any list which would start
out with a significant number of people, it would make very little sense
to use my method.  However, if the list is to be small and contain posts
in which people would be weary of sending out to the average lurker, I
think my list policy is very good for that.

Just my ideas.  Make of them what you want.  Not appropriate for all
users.
