I plan to create a new list with the name PT-L @ LISTSERV.DFN.DE.
Researching catalist I found out that there already exists a list
with the same name @ LISTSERV.BOISESTATE.EDU. Apparently this ex-
isting list has only one subscriber for quite some time, so  that
it does not seem to be an active one.

Is this an obstacle for my plan at all? If yes, is it technically
possible to delete the existing list, so that it makes  sense  to
ask the list-owner to do so?
