Yes it will.  I use a different account to administer lists from the id I
use to read my regular mail (it keeps me from having to download all those
error messages to my local HD :-)  So, my owner account is routinely
subscribed as NOMAIL while my regular mail-id is subscribed as MAIL,
DIGEST, or INDEX.
