The problem is that a user from AOL is trasnmitting email using
Quoted-printable encoding.

Where this becomes a problem at the subscriber level is a particular list I
work with operates in digest mode only. The nomime/nohtml digests to not
perform any convertions of formating, and since the header information is
stripped out, mailers that could normally autoconvert don't. (Not really sure
if that can be done on singular messages within a nomime/nohtml digest anyway)

Therefore, posts from the user come through such as the example below:

<begin example>
up and have got to be loosen up), to helping me get out of the shower, to=20
getting me off the toilet, and then also to help me eat when I can't help my=
=20
self. Now I have left one more important part to tell at the end. And this i=
s=20
to tell you he still has time to help you my friend, so that you all can fin=
d=20
the help you need, to help you understand, that what he does to help me, is=20
worth every bit of its weight in gold. For his love is so unconditional, and=
=20
<end example>

This of course makes the message very difficult to read and why I attempt to
get it turned off for lists I am involved with, so the digest users and unix
shell/older mailer users can read them.

The only thing the header information would show useful is
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

Thanks for the potential fix that was posted.
