By design, in subscribe and unsubscribe requests, LISTSERV ignores the Reply-To:
field mainly because Reply-To: is (per RFC822) an optional field that may not
always be there in every mail, and even when it is it may point to some other
address.  Therefore LISTSERV uses only the From: address which is required to be
there and to indicate the author/origin of the mail, i.e. the person or entity
being subscribed to the list.  AFAIK LISTSERV has always done this on all
platforms.
