Note that I just snagged this from Usenet.  It came for approval to
[log in to unmask] from the american.edu gateway.  Needless to say,
it did NOT get posted to the list, though the folks reading it as
bit.listserv.buslib-l already had it.

You'll also just LOVE that they named themselves mailloop.com     Good
grief.

I'm not saying this is exactly how Jim was hit recently, but it certainly
is what was used in SOME of the spam cases I've seen.  Gee, soon everybody
can spam the world....

Note that at the end they say "process the remove requests".  Yeah, sure.
At least the software allows it.

Mailloop v2.0 is an industrial strength bulk mailer.

Using it is easy:

1) Create a message (http://www.mailloop.com/editor.html)
....by using the pull down menus or
....by using any editor

2) Create a newsgroups list (http://www.mailloop.com/news3.html)
....by filtering an NNTP server or
....by importing from any text file or
....by manually creating with any editor or
....by extracting from any FTP file or
....by extracting from any HTTP file

3) Create an e-mail list (http://www.mailloop.com/em3.html)
....by extracting from newsgroups or
....by importing from any text file or
....by manually creating with any editor or
....by extracting from a WHOIS response or
....by extracting from a fingering response or
....by extracting from a UNIX  response or
....by extracting from any FTP file or
....by extracting from any HTTP file or

4) Broadcast the message
....to the e-mail list or (http://www.mailloop.com/embc.html)
....to the newsgroup list (http://www.mailloop.com/ngbc.html)

5) Then process the remove requests
....by using the mailbox processor (http://www.mailloop.com/pop.html)
