About my msg of yesterday, sorry about the brevity. The list i wanted to
start would be an ADVISE-L or something like that. It would be a list for
all of the advisors/consultants/etc. (+ gen hackers?) on bitnet/netnorth/etc
so that we could all keep in touch. This would particularly be directed
towards students acting as such. It would be used to air problems that any of
the members might have so that it would be directed toward someone who
knows the answer. It could also be used to let people know about things
that someone discovers that he thinks as interesting. The exact specifics
would depend on what the members wanted but that is generally the idea.
 
We already have a mailing list of sorts but putting it on a listserv would
really save me a lot of problems with manually running it. If anyone has a
listserv that I could run this on, please let me know.
