On Solaris we check a few key things. First is the listserv running. This is done with the following command: ps -ef | grep lsv. lsv is the listserv process. Then make sure that the sendmail process is running with the same command: ps -ef | grep sendmail. This is the best place to start. -----Original Message----- From: Margaret J. I am using LISTSERV ver 1.8d with sendmail 8.8 on a Dec Alpha UNIX Server running ver 4.0e. I am concerned because I inherited this application from another who has left. Where do I start checking? ----- Original Message ----- From: stan <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, January 18, 2000 1:54 PM Subject: Re: Help!
